The gift that keeps on giving HNT

So, clearly I didn't get back to blogging over the holidays. For any new to my blog folks out there who have commented...please don't think I'm snubbing you. I'm just kinda lame at time management skills sometimes. I appreciate each and every comment I receive here and thank you for reading.

During the month of December, I hummed and hawed about whether or not to get a gift for my dirty blond. I generally buy only for my children with few exceptions. Yes, this includes family. They all live a quite a distance from me, and it's just not our family way I guess. For whatever reason, I didn't want to bring it up with him directly because I didn't want him to think I was expecting a gift, ya know? After a discussion with Sunshine on the phone, I decided to get some lingerie to wear for my lover instead of a traditional gift. I also made dinner and holiday goodies and such, so I figured it was sufficient. Turns out he DID get me something. I'm telling you, I was so impressed with his efforts. I had told him about this shop I love where I can get really nice scented candles and such. It's quite a distance from his house, but he drove his ass all the way there to buy me something special. He got me this really awesome candle holder and some soy wax to burn in the glass tray above the tea lite. I've been lighting it almost daily as it smells so nice in my house. He makes me smile. As you know, my boys were away for an entire 10 days over the holidays. I missed them very much and worked hard to occupy my time and mind so that I didn't notice as much. The dirty blond spent 4 nights at my house. A couple before, and a couple after Christmas.

Just so it's clear...he REALLY liked the lingerie I bought *seen in the picture below* and I had such a fabulous time romping about in it. :)
